It feels like the holidays snuck up on us. Can we delay a little longer? Luckily, this weekend has everything a last minute reveler would need: a holiday bazaar, visit with Santa, bar crawl, and ugly sweater party. Activate your festiveness, Canton, because this weekend is your chance for some last-minute holiday mayhem.
Most of the holiday markets have already passed, but for last-minute Christmas shoppers, City Garage has you covered. The Holiday Bazaar is a last-minute holiday pop-up featuring over 40 local artisans and crafters. Join Friday, December 15 for happy hour (starting at 5 p.m.), Saturday or Sunday, December 16 and 17 (starting at 11 a.m.) for a weekend of browsing. Food, drink, music, art and more will be available alongside the bazaar.
Missed those awkward and adorable pics with Santa? There’s still time to get them in: head to the Baltimore Christmas Village in the Inner Harbor this Saturday and Sunday, December 16 and 17. Starting at 11 a.m. stop by the market to get a precious picture of your kiddos with Santa. Shop the market, listen to live music, and enjoy face paintings and caricatures too.
Those who thought they missed their chance for a good ol’ fashioned holiday bar crawl can rejoice: Fell’s Point will be awash with drunk Santas this Saturday, December 16. For $30 you can dress up in your most festive holiday garb and crawl through all the best Fell’s Point bars with your refillable Santa mug. Food and drink specials are also included ($3 beers, $4 rail drinks, and $4 shots). Get merry from 1 to 9 p.m.
Don’t put away that ugly sweater just yet: the Chausseur is throwing an Ugly Sweater bash (its fourth annual) this Saturday, December 16. The event, which runs from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., is sponsored by Tito’s Handmade vodka, which means plenty of drink specials. Expect a photo booth and prize for the “King and Queen of Ugly”. You can also get in one more gift for good: bring an unwrapped toy for St. Francis Neighborhood Center and be entered to win a prize. Leave feeling all warm and fuzzy (and scratchy from that sweater) inside.
