Even if you haven’t had the good fortune of tasting their tempura broccoli, join them on Friday, March 24 for the tastiest of birthday parties. Union Brewery (1700 Union Ave) is hosting from 5 to 9 p.m. with beer, food, live music, and a new menu.
Continue the festing on Saturday, March 25 with the Pig and Oyster Fest at Mussel Bar & Grille. For $35 you get access to a selection of unlimited raw oysters, plus a buffet with over a dozen items (including their signature mussels, spicy chicken sliders, and more). Enjoy $5 draft beer and $3 select bottle beer with your feast. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Acro yoga much? Even if you don’t, with sunshine in the forecast you might want to grab a friend and a blanket and head to Canton Waterfront Park to enjoy a session of extreme park lounging. Asana Roots is hosting an Acro Yoga event from 2 to 5 p.m. free to anyone who’d like to join. They’re also encouraging attendees to bring slacklines, frisbees, and juggling toys. Get outside and experience the good weather!
Fancy up for Spring and support the Young Defenders of the Maryland Historical Society at their annual party on Saturday, March 25 from 9 to midnight. There will be a live band (Nightsong) and two floors of entertainment. Guests are encouraged to dress in vintage formal wear or modern black tie. Tickets ($60 for members and $75 for non-members) include three hours of open bar, snacks, and complimentary valet parking.
