Whether you’re a champ at chili, kareoke, flea market shopping, or just being your fabulous single self, this weekend will have you winning all-around. Winter out. Mic drop.

Pig & Rooster 1st Annual Chili Cook-off

Does your chili rise above the rest? Head to a local hangout this Saturday, February 25 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. to serve your chili to the best kind of judges (your neighbors) and earn some bragging rights. Pig & Rooster’s 1st Annual Chili Cook-off invites judges and chili cooks alike to join the chili gorging party that benefits Mended Little Hearts of Greater Baltimore. Make a $5 donation and you will receive a judging spoon. Looking to compete? Sign-up at the bar or via email at info@pigandroostersmokehouse.com. The entry fee is $15. First, second and third prizes will be awarded.

Lith-Hall Kareoke: Anti-Valentine

Still angry about this lovey-dovey month called February? The Lithuanian Hall (851 Hollins St.) has the perfect platform for scorning past lovers and slaying on stage: the Anti-Valentine Kareoke party. Join the pity party this Saturday, February 25 from 9:30 p.m to 1:30 a.m. Cover is $5 for members, and an additional $5 for non-members (which covers your annual membership). Bring your broken heart and a penchant for singing about it all night long.

End of Winter Flea Market at Ottobar

Nothing signals the (early) end of winter in Baltimore like scoring a few local treasures at a city bar to spiff up your house for spring. Ottobar is hosting a flea market this Sunday, February 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 25 local vendors selling handmade crafts, vintage, and more.
