Hello you “Pokemon Go” fanatics! Looking to incubate your eggs a little longer and enjoy a good old fashioned Saturday day-drink? Loople has a great FREE event for you!

This Saturday, join Loople while you try your best to catch every Pokemon east of the Inner Harbor! Starting at Southern Provisions in Canton at 1 p.m. you’ll make your own way over to Fells Point hitting tons of local businesses on your journey. There is no official route, but you and your friends can use Loople to find drink & food specials at local businesses as you collect your pokemons. There are countless Pokestop’s along the way and many rustling bushes to keep you entertained. There will also be an after party at DogWatch Tavern starting at 6 p.m.

Loople may even have to drop some lure’s at both the pre & post parties for everyone, so you can mix and mingle with everyone from novices to Ash himself! Costumes are welcome (and encouraged)!

Sign up on facebook here so you don’t miss any updates!

This is not an organized bar crawl but simply a fun event. Please drink responsibly and be mindful of the city and it’s neighborhoods. Enjoy the nice weather and most importantly stay alert as you wonder along your own path!

  • If you haven’t signed up yet, create a new google email address for it. By signing up through your google account, it allows the app a lot of permissions you might be unaware of. Learn more here.
  • Stay alert of your surroundings. You make be in a new altered reality, but we’re still in Baltimore and phone grabs happen.
  • Don’t cross the street while looking on your phone. Go back to your safety town lessons and look both ways before crossing the street.
  • Remember that your phone will buzz so you don’t need to keep your eyes glued to your screen. Just walk and let the app run in the background and wait for it to buzz when a Pokemon is near.
