Brunch more, a New Year’s Resolution you can stick to.  A new study of 6,500 Britons found that at age 50, having regular interactions with a wide circle of friends has a significant impact on psychological well-being. So get out there, meet your friends, and/or make new friends over brunch on January 1st!

Many restaurants are opening on Wednesday to serve the hung over (possibly still drunk) masses. Here are a few, that we heard about that are sure to help you kick off the new year right!

You don’t even have to get out of your PJ’s for Tavern on the Squares brunch.  From 11-2 p.m. recieve 20% off your check if you’re in your jammies.

If you’re celebrating all night long and not detouring for your pj’s than Smaltimore is the place for you.  Smaltimore will open up to the public at 1am on January 1st, and not close until 2 a.m., January 2nd (yup thats 25 hours of fun)! They will have a late night/ early morning buffet and start serving brunch again at 10am.

Myth and Moonshine will also be hosting a brunch starting at 11 am.  (I’m interested in trying the Crab Grilled Cheese along with a bottomless Mimosa.)  You can see the rest of their menu here.

If one of your resolutions is also to be a bit more healthy, here’s a easy detox smoothie recipe to get you started. Just be sure to share it with friends.
