October is my favorite month. Not only because it’s contains my birthday (though that doesn’t hurt), but because its the start of sweater and boots weather, pumpkin spiced things, Halloween decorations, and delicious fall beers. On Sunday, on the corner of Clinton and Pratt in Highlandtown (141 S. Clinton) from 1-6 pm there will be local home-brew samplings, traditional food and music, a silent auction and live music at Highlandtown’s first Oktoberfest!
All proceeds from Oktoberfest will go to necessary building renovations for a mixed-income preschool for the community.
You can purchase tickets with their suggested donation here. $25.00 adults / $15.00 under 21/non-drinkers, and children (12 and under) free with paying adult.
Worried about missing the game? Don’t be! They will be projecting the game with captions near the band! Now you don’t have any excuse not to go get your brew and oompah on!
